1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all orders and purchases made through our webshop Maison Maeva. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Maison Maeva is based in the Netherlands and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under the above Chamber of Commerce number. For questions, complaints, or other requests, you can contact us via the provided email address.

3. Products

Our jewelry is carefully selected and meets high quality standards. We strive to describe and depict the products as accurately as possible. However, slight color variations may occur due to different screen displays.

4. Prices and Payment

All listed prices are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of shipping costs. Payment can be securely made via the available payment methods on our webshop.

5. Shipping Costs and Delivery

Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout. We aim to dispatch your order within 1-3 business days after payment. Delivery times may vary depending on your location.

6. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receipt without providing a reason. Once you exercise this right of withdrawal, you must return the products to us within 14 days of cancellation. This reflection period starts the day after you receive the product. You will receive a full refund of the order amount, excluding the original shipping costs. Return shipping costs are at your own expense. Note: Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective upon receipt.

7. Non-Deliverable Orders

If an order cannot be delivered, you will be informed as soon as possible. If the order has already been paid, we will attempt to refund the paid amount via the payment method you used. If the refund needs to be processed in another way, we will notify you and ask you to contact our customer service, which will handle the refund.

8. Refunds and Condition of Returned Products

Maison Maeva guarantees a full refund for returned products, excluding return shipping costs, provided that the products are returned in the same unused condition as you received them. This means that the products must not be damaged, dirty, altered, or worn (except for trying on) and that any labels, tags, or price stickers must still be attached. The products must be returned complete, including all parts and accessories.

9. Liability

Maison Maeva is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of the products, unless it is due to intent or gross negligence.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Your data is used solely for processing your order and is not shared with third parties without your consent.

11. Complaints

1. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur fully and clearly described within 7 days after the consumer has discovered the defects.
2. For complaints, you can contact us via info@maisonmaeva.com. We aim to handle complaints within 14 days.

12. Applicable Law

Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

13. Gift Cards

The following terms and conditions apply to all gift cards issued by Maison Maeva, including both physical and electronic gift cards:

1. Usage
   Gift cards can be used for purchases on our webshop. Each gift card has a unique code that you can enter at checkout. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for outstanding orders.
2. Cash Redemption
   Gift cards or their remaining balance cannot be redeemed for cash.
3. Security and Fraud
   It is not permitted to alter, counterfeit, undermine, or otherwise tamper with gift cards or their functionality, including hacking gift card systems. Any attempt at fraud or other unauthorized actions will be recorded and will result in the denial of gift card use.
4. Validity Period
   Gift cards are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issuance, unless otherwise stated. After the validity period has expired, any remaining balance will be forfeited.
